Rabbi Shmuley Boteach told Newsmax on Wednesday that President Donald Trump is “the only person who actually cares about the Palestinians and their future.”
On Tuesday, Trump announced the U.S. would take over the Gaza Strip saying during a White House Press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, “We’ll own it … We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal … the Riviera of the Middle East.” Trump’s statement was met with swift rebuke from across the political landscape.
Boteach dismissed the naysayers and said the world “finally has a president who is courageous enough to state what needs to be stated.”
